Klondike Bar-cade

Following the launch of Klondike’s Giphy-made 80’s style arcade games series, we brought the games to life with our very own custom-made gaming console. We posted a teaser to get people
excited for the upcoming holiday giveaway and followed it up 80’s-licious CGI reveal to win your own! The phone compatible gaming console, was custom built and 3d printed, to perfecty fit your mobile device for easy and a fun gaming experience with Klondike during quarantine isolation.

The team came to me with a general idea to make a retro console for a cellular device. Through thorough research of methods, materials, logistics, we teamed up with a local 3D house, 3D Brooklyn, to help design and produce a limited run of 3d printed consoles within a span of 5 weeks. In parallel, we worked with a CGI house to create teaser and reveal videos for social, to promote the product while it’s still in prototyping.

The giveaway coincided with the launch of an interactive Klondike GIPHY Game, partnering up with Twitch to enlist professional gamers to compete for the win.
